Game is an absolute thrill ride. Mr. Lyga has acknowledged that YA readers are already familiar with violence and does not pull any of his punches. Billy Dent is one of the nastiest bad guys I have come across in any book - YA or Adult - and his total disregard for humanity is enough to make anyone cringe. I love the uncertainties in Jaspers character too, so unlike the usual protagonist.
Full of great, believable characters and a story line that will have you staying up nights reading, Game is perfect for fans of psychological thrillers. Warning thought - if you don't like cliff hangers, don't read it. Game has an absolute doozy of a cliff hanger that blew me away and we have a year to wait for the conclusion. Great writing, great book!
